Green Clay Treatment

Clay is used to treat bone inflammation and muscle pain.

With a clay poultice (a mixture of clay and water, which can also be mixed with other elements, until it turns into a pasty consistency) we wrap the painful part of the body so that the clay begins to act on the inflammation.

This poultice is a mixture of various minerals that vary according to their quality (green, white, red, yellow clay), collected directly from the soil. You can use: medicinal plant preparations, essential oils, Bach flowers, grated potato or grated onion, mixed with water to complement the action of the clay.

How to make green clay poultice and apply it?

• Place two tablespoons of green clay in a clay or wooden container, avoiding the use of metal objects so as not to alter its physical structure;
• Add warm water little by little until a creamy paste forms;
• Before applying the clay, wash the area to be treated well;
• Using a wooden brush (never metal), apply the clay to the desired area;
• Leave it on for 20 or 30 minutes and wash it off with warm or cold water.

• Don’t worry if during the process you feel your skin pulling or even turning red after removing it;
• The same portion of clay should never be applied more than once;

It is normal for symptoms to seem to worsen at the beginning of treatment. This is due to the release of toxins from the body. If symptoms do not improve or become even worse, stop treatment and seek help from your doctor and/or therapist.
